Nursery education is the vital start to a child's whole learning journey. Professional delivery, a sensitive attitude; each child enjoys and benefits from their time in the nursery and progresses smoothly into primary education. To arrange a visit to see this wonderful setting and meet the staff, please contact us.

Your child can start at the Nursery as soon as they turn 3, the free entitlement only becomes available at the start of the term after they turn 3 and stay until they start their school journey in Reception. The free entitlement is for up to 15 hours a week, and 30 extended hours for parents who qualify. The funded hours are delivered free of charge to parents.
Priority is given to the children of Priors Hardwick and Priors Marston, and siblings of children at the Priors School, but we warmly welcome children from further afield.
We will be happy to talk you through free entitlement options.

Children's behaviour is exemplary and they are taught to be polite and respect each other.
Teaching is very good and all children make very good progress as a result of effective planning and assessment.
Children are safe at the nursery, as the management team ensures staff understand and implement rigorous policies and procedures.
The effective use of a wide range of good quality resources means that children develop their own learning styles and creativity.
Staff are caring and meet all children's needs so that they are emotionally very secure.
Leadership and management is strong, which leads to very effective systems for monitoring and self-evaluation. This means there is continuous improvement in the high-quality provision.

The Priors Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (‘EYFS’). This is the statutory framework which covers learning and development from the day that your child is born until the end of their first year at school. We ensure all of our themes and play are based around the EYFS, which helps to build a firm foundation for your child’s academic, school and emotional development.
The four guiding principles of EYFS are as follows: ~
1. A Unique Child
2. Positive Relationships
3. Enabling Environment
4. Learning and Development
We offer the children a wide variety of learning experiences, tailored to each individual child. Our staff team observes and assesses all of the children on an ongoing basis. This enables us to establish where each child is in their learning and development and then plan how to encourage each child to thrive. We are then able to provide learning opportunities for each child, which allows them to build on what they already know, thus building their confidence and then helping them to work at their own pace to develop further.

Nursery Fees

Nursery fees for those no claiming the free entitlement or for additional hours are charged at £5.75 per hour. The session times are outlined in the table below, but can be adapted to suit parents needs.
